Brisbane South PHN has an exciting opportunity to become part of our dynamic Quality Improvement team. This role will support General Practices in the Brisbane south region to adapt and use the integration of Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) & National Cancer Screening Register (NCSR) into the practices clinical software.
A typical day may involve:
- Planning, coordinating, facilitating and delivering support to General Practices to implement these portals
- Understanding, communicating and promoting the role of the PHN with General Practice
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a planned approach to engagement and support across the Brisbane south region.
This is a fixed full-time role for until 30 June 2024 (however part time will be considered).

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in the primary health care setting, is desirable, but not essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary issues for General Practice and the primary health care sector.
- Passion for improvement in patient health outcomes.
- Engaging written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
- Moderate/high level of computer literacy and capacity to understand software applications and systems relevant to the program.
- Ability to operate as a member of a high functioning, collaborative team.
- Current driver’s licence.
