The Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Sales Manager to lead our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in driving sales growth, managing a high-performing team, and implementing effective sales strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales and revenue growth, while also ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
As a General Sales Manager, you will:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profits
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets
- Provide training, support, and guidance to the sales team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
- Monitor and analyse sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure their ongoing loyalty
- Work closely with the dealership's management team to develop marketing and advertising strategies to promote the used vehicle sales business
- Ensure that the dealership's sales processes are followed, and customer service standards are maintained
- Collaborate with other departments within the dealership to ensure the smooth operation of the business

- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role, with a successful track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing a high-performing sales team
