CrewSELECT are supporting their client in the search for a Business Development Manager specialising in Power Generation.

As a Business Development Manager specialising in Power Generation, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth. You will leverage your industry expertise and strategic vision to expand the company market presence, capitalise on emerging trends, and drive innovation in Power Generation solutions.

About the position:

This role is based in Malaga. The business are looking for someone who can deliver exceptional customer service, maintain and grow existing customer accounts, establish new business, and maximise sales opportunities in Western Australia.

This is an opportunity to work in a team environment within an organisation dedicated to product quality, industry knowledge and constant product refinement to keep ahead of the competition.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing accurate, detailed, and timely communication as a single point of contact to the customer base.
  • Developing high-level business-to-business customer relationships, ensuring customer intelligence, market activity and sales data are maintained.
  • Visit with clients in mining and industrial settings to grow and develop the customer base. Travel to Kalgoorlie possibly 2-3 times per year.
  • Seeking out new business generation through existing accounts or prospecting new business channels.

To be considered for this challenging and exciting position, you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience in a technical sales or Business Development position and the proven ability to achieve sales outcomes.
  • Previous experience in the mining, Power Generation, or electrical sectors (highly advantageous).
  • A trade background as a Electrician with experience in Power Generation will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a demonstrated ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed to engage with clients, attend industry events, and explore new market opportunities.
  • A problem solver who can collaborate with enthusiasm and positivity.
