As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar operations, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests. Key responsibilities include
- Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of beer, wine & spirits plus mixology, cocktail trends and batching cocktails.
- Monitoring and managing the cost of goods and inventory to maximise profitability.
- Implementing effective cost control measures without compromising on quality.
- Leading and inspiring a large and diverse team.
- Fostering a customer-centric environment, ensuring exceptional service and an elevated guest experience.
- Implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures to streamline bar operations.
- Optimising work flow to enhance efficiency and reduce wait times.
- Analysing financial reports to assess the performance of the bar and make data-driven decisions.
- Working closely with the management team to achieve financial targets.
- Flexibility with rostering and full weekend availability
Experience & Requirements
- Proven industry experience in high volume upscale venues
- Exceptional product knowledge
- Business, stock and inventory management acumen
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage and lead a large team
- RSA
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a Bar Manager role
