Due to an internal promotion, this leadership opportunity will take accountability for the cleaning and patient services staff for a new purpose built Hospital in the Eastern Suburbs.The ideal candidate will bring work experience gained in a management role within hospitality, cleaning or aged care (non clinical) services. You will be responsible for staff development, budgets, OH+S, quality and infection control requirements as well as ensuring a strong team culture that promotes a high level of customer service on site. The successful candidate will present with sound financial management and operational leadership skills as well as the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels. We are seeking expressions of interest from candidates who present with the following: A relevant qualification in Hospitality, Health Administration, HR or Business Minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory role Excellent writing skills including a demonstrated ability to prepare concise reports Highly organised and ability to prioritise effectively Intermediate to advanced computer skills An understanding of governance principles and application of risk management concepts within a service setting. Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability foster positive relationships with staff at all levels A positive attitude and motivational approach in facilitating change and adopting new concepts.
