As a publicly owned entity established by the Queensland Government, they're tasked with designing, delivering, and maintaining long-duration pumped hydro energy storage assets. Their mission is clear: to provide the foundation for Queensland's clean energy future while supporting the state's renewable energy targets and journey toward net-zero emissions by 2050.

Qualifications and Licenses:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geographical Information Systems or similar Tertiary Qualification
• Minimum 6 years industry experience in GIS with proven experience working on large infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience with data, map and application configuration and deployment in ArcGIS Enterprise
• Exposure to hydroelectric or dam projects highly regarded.
• Current and Valid Australian Drivers licence
Knowledge and Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in GIS software such as ESRI ArcGIS, including spatial analysis, data visualization, and
cartographic design.
• Experience in managing spatial databases, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and compliance with industry standards.
• Ability to set up and maintain a common data environment for GIS.
• Analytical abilities to assess metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Capacity to identify and resolve complex spatial data issues, troubleshoot GIS software functionalities, and address
technical challenges efficiently.
• Knowledge of international standards including ISO 19115
• Sound data management, cartographic and spatial reasoning skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and technologies, while maintaining high standards of GIS
performance and deliverables.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on fostering a collaborative and innovative work
environment.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and manage multiple stakeholders
