The Role
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated candidate with strong technical skills to manage and develop the enterprise GIS, establish integration with other systems and develop innovative GIS solutions based on business requirements.
This role can be based in Brisbane QLD or Sydney NSW.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement, administer, maintain, develop and trouble shoot the enterprise GIS environment including configuration, security, user permissions, databases and web apps.
- Plan, develop and maintain integration of GIS with other business systems to improve access to information.
- Develop business cases and manage contractor work and vendors in support of enterprise GIS management.
- Translate business requirements into effective spatial solutions through the development of scripting, workflows, data models, geoprocessing tools, automation and targeted applications.
- Provide specialist technical advice and GIS services as required to add value and support multiple business functions and projects.
- Develop innovative solutions and promote new technology, knowledge sharing and collaborative practice.
- Develop and implement standards and procedures in alignment with GIS strategy for enhanced systems, processes, interoperability and governance.
About you
You will have:
- 10+ years’ experience in GIS analytics.
- Tertiary qualifications in GIS or related discipline.
- Demonstrated hands on experience in implementing, administering and developing Enterprise GIS.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing new solutions and resolving problems to improve overall performance.
- High level of technical skills in ESRI enterprise GIS administration, GIS analytics, scripting, geoprocessing, data management and web GIS solutions.
- High level of skills in the management, configuration and troubleshooting of enterprise geodatabase, GIS services, Portal, web applications and desktop applications.
- High level of skills in process automation and integration using FME
- A current Australian driver’s licence
