The Role:
Applications are welcomed from experienced and dynamic Grade 2 Physiotherapists who have an interest to work in Hospital In The Home (HITH) at Northern Health.
This role is Ongoing full fime, part time / job sharing may be considered as well
The Physiotherapist - Grade 2 will provide leadership and ensure high level, evidence-based physiotherapy care to inpatients managed In The Hospital In The Home program across Northern Health. The role includes the organisation, implementation, development and supervision of physiotherapy care and the promotion of best practice. Education and supervision of physiotherapy students and junior staff is also a requirement of this role.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A background which includes clinical experience in general medical, musculoskeletal, and neurological patients In The community
- Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills and initiative in developing and promoting clinical care
- Demonstrated ability to lead and promote evidence-based practice
- Possesses practical negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Experienced in supervision of physiotherapy staff and/or Allied Health Assistants
- Demonstrates and models a strong commitment to ongoing professional development
