About this role
We are seeking a full-time-based Graduate Accountant to work at our beach front office in Surfers Paradise Gold Coast, to provide support to our highly valued finance team in day-to-day accounting tasks, mainly focus on bookkeeping, data entry, payment application, administrative supporting etc. This role reports directly to the Head of our Finance Department.
Key responsibilities
- Data entry, record keeping.
- Prepare, review payment and contract applications according to company guidelines.
- Process invoices in MYOB and ensure codes and GST are correct.
- Prepare month-end journals such as prepayments, accruals, amortisations, fixed asset registers, and cost apportionments.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and hotel OSE schedule.
- Prepare monthly cash payment forecast and assist budget control.
- Assist other team member in financing, auditing, cashflow, payment application, data entry.
- Ad-hoc jobs required by senior management.
Selection criteria
- Bilingual (English and Mandarin) applicants are preferable.
- Education background in Accounting.
- Previous experience with MYOB accounting system.
- Advanced Microsoft application skills in particular Excel Spreadsheet.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with figures.
- Manage time efficiently and be a goal achiever.
- Permanent work rights with no restriction required (eg. Australian Citizenship or Permanent residency)
A remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant based on skills and experience.
