In business for over 50 years, our client is a recognised fabricator and contractor that sells to architects, builders, developers and other contractors. OPPORTUNITY
 
Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for an Account Manager responsible for the ongoing management and development of key accounts in South-East QLD.  You can be living anywhere from Brisbane down to North New South Wales (Tweed heads etc..) You will be based on the road, and have the complete flexibility to work from home as required. This will involve Management of an existing customer base and, by following proven sales practices, to begin to strategically targeting certain prospects that align to our client's 'Ideal Customer Profile'. Key responsibilities include:

  • Growing and maintaining existing accounts by building rapport with account customers
  • Conduct on-site measure and quotations as required
  • Manage a territory of account customers
  • Reporting via CRM
  • Making telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations as required
  • Coordinating the sales effort by working with internal staff and external clients
  • Delivering on sale budgets and targets through continuous improvement on sales performance

CANDIDATE
 
In order to be considered for this role, it is essential you have demonstrated experience reading and interpreting Construction drawings and plans. In addition, we would be open to consider the following candidate profiles:
  • You have prior B2B (business to business) sales experience selling Glass, Windows and Doors into the Building & Construction industry
  • You have prior B2B (business to business) sales experience selling ANY sort of building material to the Construction sector i.e. (Steel, Timber, Shutters, Awnings etc). However you MUST have a satisfactory understanding of the RESIDENTIAL construction market (single dwellings).
