The team currently has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Accountant with a relevant accounting/finance degree. The client is looking for a recent graduate or someone with experience to join the team early June/July.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of management reports, financial statements, tax returns and BAS for individual, partnership, company, trust and superfund clients.
- Preparation of FBT returns.
- Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients including the ATO and ASIC.
- Work with the Client Director and team to ensure client work is completed within the timeframe allocated.
- Preparation of correspondence to clients and other bodies as required/
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as deemed appropriate.
- Support for the CA (Chartered Accountants) Program - Paid study and exam leave to allow graduates the time to successfully complete the course, plus we reimburse the cost of each module upon completion.
- Training & Mentorship- Extensive training sessions which will be both technical training but also other skills that are required to become a future advisor to clients. Additionally, you will establish goals and action plans alongside the Director/senior associates.
