CPE Construction has the capacity to take commercial and industrial projects of any size from concept to completion. Our multidisciplinary workforce includes Project Managers, Engineers, Welders, Plumbers, and Steel Erectors which ensures we can complete all elements of a project from within our own highly trained team.
Due to our ongoing success and business growth, we have an opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for but not limited to-
- Assist Project Managers with project administration including procurement, quality, and safety documentation to comply with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 Standards.
- Ensure compliance to relevant Australian Standards for Fabrication and Erection.
- Prepare monthly project financial documents.
- Develop and maintain project schedules.
- Plan/direct/supervise site works with oversight from more Senior Project Managers
- Provide professional client updates and communications.
- Assist with contract administration including variations, extensions of time and other contractual obligations.
- Management of fabrication process using Tekla Powerfab.
The following qualifications and skills will be essential in conducting this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar
- A passion for a career in construction and project management
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Current drivers’ licence
- Efficient use of Microsoft suite – Word, Excel, Outlook
- Willingness to learn and apply new skills.
- Strong administration skills with an eye for detail
The following qualifications and skills will be advantageous:
- Experience within the Construction or associated industry
- Construction Induction (White) card
