About Us:
Wiseway Logistics (WWG) is an ASX listed fast growing international freight forwarding company, operating in 11 cities across 5 countries. We have been providing our substantial client base with all rounded freight and logistics services, such as international air and sea freight, customs clearance, warehouse storage and domestic transportation.
We now have the opportunity for a newly graduated candidate to join our Transport team in our Sydney Office. The successful graduate will be trained in all fields of operations and logistics and will be given continuous mentoring to fully equip you with the essential tools to be successful in the role. This initial training will be a hands-on operational role to ensure you gain a full understanding of our business.
This opportunity will give you exposure to international freight and logistics industry and can pave the way to a longer-term career within the global logistics field.
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Transport Coordination – managing workload and assisting with scheduling rosters for drivers (full-time, contractors and casual).
- Handling and organizing transport for export/import/interstate freight.
- Communicating with suppliers, partners, and customers to convey shipment details, address any customer concerns, and provide updates on transportation status.
- Providing excellent customer services through prompt addressing of customer inquiries, concerns, and transport related requests.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for driver schedules and timesheets, worksheets, documentations, and delivery times and handling general driver enquiries.
- Complete all required documentation in a timely manner and in accordance with Company policy and ensuring accuracy with compliance obligations.
- Follow all WHS and compliance requirements.
- Co-coordinating and working closely with cross-functional teams, including warehouse, perishables, imports and exports teams, to ensure seamless coordination.
- Collaborating with the Transport Team nationally to achieve and exceed department KPIs.
- Support to managers for other Operational duties.
- Ad-hoc tasks as required by management.
The successful Graduate will:
- Have completed a Bachelor's degree with a minimum credit average in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (ideally graduated in 2022-2023 or looking to graduate this year).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency to communicate in Mandarin (Preferred)
