Job Description
The Learning & Capability function operates at a group-wide level, consisting of driven learning and capability professionals who work collaboratively with People Partners and divisional key stakeholders to execute people experience and culture, and learning solutions. The team will design and execute learning and capability learning strategies that enhance knowledge, develop organisational capabilities, foster a culture of curiosity, and enrich Lendi Group.
The pathway for a broker's development from beginner to mastery can take upward of 12- 18+ months. At Lendi Group, we call this the Skills Competency Journey. The Aussie Graduate Program is a best-in-breed broker induction training program - designed to deliver the foundational skill competencies and capabilities required to set up an Aussie Broker for success.
What's the role?
As a Graduate Manager (12-month Max Term), reporting to the Senior Learning & Capability Manager, Distribution, you will deliver a structured, national 8-week Aussie Broker Graduation Program for Distribution – our core sales organisation. You will support the delivery of Aussie business knowledge, mortgage lending, and credit competencies across a diverse panel of lenders, focusing on customer experience, systems, processes, and Aussie broker support teams.
You will work collaboratively with the broker's future sales leader throughout the 8-week program to build the foundational skills an Aussie broker requires to set them up for success before they embark on a Skills Competency journey.
You will ensure that Aussie Brokers have a sound understanding of their role, achieve key KPIs and metrics required to graduate into their future sales teams and provide an excellent customer experience.
What you will do:
- Work collaboratively with L&C and Distribution leads to deliver a Graduate Program for the new brokers joining the Aussie Brokers channel that is in alignment with core organisational competencies and divisional.
- Working to a weekly structured schedule, focused on:
- Systems usage and process enablement
- Customer qualification & core sales skills.
- Analysis & presentation of risk to the lender
- Compliance & Customer Experience
- Facilitating multi-medium training sessions in a virtual environment one-on-one coaching sessions & action plans
- Managing Brokers' KPIs, from daily appointment conversion and weekly application lodgments
- Act as "the voice of the business" in the design and delivery of divisional learning & development and capability programs
- Background in the home loan or credit lending space as either a broker or lender
- Strong track record designing and operationalising sales enablement & sales effectiveness learning programs
- Experience in a corporate Learning, development and capability management role within a sales organisation and with direct responsibility for developing and "operationalising" learning and capability programs across the business
