The successful incumbent will administer Council’s Community grants funding program and write and submit grant applications on behalf of Council to improve community outcomes.

- Position Remuneration: Level 4 ($94,435.86) total remuneration package which is inclusive of 12% employer superannuation and 17.5% leave loading based on a permanent full-time employee (pro-rata for a part-time employee).

About You
To undertake this position, you will have high level interpersonal, communication, presentation and customer service skills including consultation and negotiation, with the ability to apply these skills to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
You will demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement using research, analytics and problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions and make recommendations.
Furthermore, you will have a demonstrated ability to identify funding opportunities for Council and write funding applications to improve community outcomes.
The position's focus will be:
- Administer Council’s Community Grants Program, including coordinating application and assessment rounds, processing grant documentation, providing information and training, marketing, payment and reporting.
- Provide advice to Council on delivering grants programs and associated processes.
- Develop procedures and guidelines for grant programs.
- Manage the grants management system including ongoing improvements.
- Maintain community grants external communication including website pages and customer service scripts on the website.
- Organize workshops and provide capacity-building opportunities for the not-for-profit sector.
- Research and promote government and philanthropic grant opportunities.
- Write, submit, and manage grant applications on behalf of Council.
- Provide general support including project support to the Community Development team where required.
