Graphic Designer - 12Mth Ftc

As part of our Strategy & Communications group, the Graphic Designer will work under the guidance and supervision of the Communications Manager - Brand to support the creation and implementation of visually appealing and impactful designs. The role will contribute to various digital and print materials, such as websites, social media graphics, newsletters, brochures, advertisements, and other marketing collateral.

The Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with the communications team and other departments to ensure brand consistency, creative excellence, and effective communication of visual concepts.

Further, the successful candidate will:

• Assist in the development and implementation of innovative and creative design concepts for marketing and promotional materials.
• Create visually compelling graphics, including logos, illustrations, infographics, and layouts for both digital and print media.
• Film and edit videos to support internal and external initiatives.
• Support the production of digital assets for websites, social media platforms, and online advertising campaigns.
• Contribute to the creation and design of email newsletters, banners, landing pages, and other digital marketing materials.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs while adhering to project deadlines.

Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and part time (0.8 FTE minimum) will be considered for this role.

Your skills and experience will include:

• Proven experience in graphic design or a design-related role.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
• Strong visual and aesthetic skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout composition.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design principles.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and present visual concepts.
