The client is seeking a talented and motivated Graphic Designer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective signage designs that meet the clients’ needs and exceed their expectations. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for complete management of the store with a focus on customer service, operational efficiency, cost control and growth. The job requires performance, planning and implementation of efficient store operations daily; and help drive the seamless execution and delivery of key business imperatives through our retail network.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• At least 2 years industry experience at a relevant design studio, advertising agency or in-house design team
• Highly proficient in the ability to comprehend and interpret creative briefs, and develop high quality design outcomes
In this role your main responsibilities include:
• Create innovative and effective signage designs using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and provide creative solutions.
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality creative solutions
• Stay updated on design trends and best practices
• Develop marketing materials that resonate with diverse audiences
• Prepare and present design concepts to clients for feedback and approval.
• Modify and refine designs to meet client specifications and Signarama standards.
• Ensure all designs are print-ready and meet production requirements.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques into design work.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality control.
Key Competencies
The successful candidate will have a passion for the retail sector, be career focused and have strong management qualities. Other key skills and experience will include:
• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in the signage industry.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Highly proficient in the ability to comprehend and interpret creative briefs from different teams and develop high-quality design outcomes.
• Ability to work autonomously and make the best decisions that contribute to the success of the company vision
• Proven experience in creating visually appealing and effective designs for digital marketing campaigns.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Knowledge of sign production processes and materials is an advantage.
