Wyong Christian Community School is a wonderful school with a fantastic community. Set on 28 acres in a beautiful semi-rural setting, we have been building God’s Kingdom for 30 years. The School is a Ministry of Wyong Baptist Church, partnering with many other local Churches offering families in the area, excellent Education with a Christian focus encompassing all aspects of the curriculum.
We are seeking to employ a Grounds Maintenance person (1.0 FTE) who will be a committed Christian, active in their Church and able to support the ethos of the School joining in all aspects of the life of the School Community here.
The role encompasses the following aspects:
· Reports to the Business Manager and Property Manager.
· Grounds and Property Maintenance.
· Sound Understanding of WH&S requirements and ability to follow safe working procedures.
· Assisting with Bus transportation.
The person:
· Affirm a personal belief in the school’s Statement of Faith as accessible on the school website as well as active involvement within their local church.
· Will possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills as your work will involve interaction with Staff, Students, Parents and Contractors.
· Possess experience within the Property and /or Garden Maintenance field.
- Experience in driving Light rigid vehicles including buses with appropriate LR or
Higher License.
- Will need to provide a current
Working with Children Number.
Salary will be negotiated as per the NSW Christian Schools General Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement.
