About Us
Honeybee Wellness Retreat is an inclusive, values-based community retreat located in Kandanga in the beautiful Mary Valley. We are dedicated to providing a peaceful and supportive environment for individuals living with disability. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Groundskeeper/Caretaker to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the grounds of Honeybee Wellness Retreat, including lawn care, gardening, and landscaping
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, minor repairs, and cleaning
- Maintain the maintenance register, obtain quotes, develop relationships with local suppliers to secure the best prices, prioritise task order and work within a budget
- Ensure the safety and security of the property
- Assist with setting up for events and activities
- Maintain a clean and tidy environment in all areas of the retreat
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or a similar role
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining a high standard of presentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite sufficient for emailing, web browsing, and maintaining asset and maintenance registers in Excel
- A positive, proactive and solution-focused attitude towards work
- Knowledge of the NDIS sector will be given preference
