We are looking for a Group Accountant for a fixed term maternity leave contract, in this role you'll be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of K&B’s financial information. The Group Accountant will manage the fiscal operations, and maintain operational processes, upholding the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Providing expert financial advice and support, adhering to company policies and accounting standards.
• Ensuring compliance with taxation and legal requirements and oversee the preparation of statutory and compliance reports.
• Management of internal financial reporting, including variance analysis and presentations to executives and the board.
• Implementation and maintaining robust processes for cash flow management and risk mitigation.
• Collaboration with stakeholders, including divisional heads and shareholders, to drive predictable and sustainable performance.
• Maintain Balance sheet working papers and produce timely and accurate Profit and loss accounts .
• Understanding accrual accounting with strong emphasis on reconciliation of general ledger accounts 

Qualifications / Experience:

• Degree in Financial Accounting or similar field.
• CPA qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate accounting roles.

The Group Accountant will require strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. An experienced professional with strong attention to detail coupled with strategic thinking, business acumen and client-focused mindset, analytical problem-solving abilities and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
