AddressPRP Group is located in Renmark, SA (Riverland area – around a 3 hour drive from Adelaide). The group provides Accounting and Financial Planning services, employing 23 locals and two remote employees.
PRP Accounting Services is a leading accounting practice with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional financial services to our clients. We are currently expanding our services to include payroll management and are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing payroll services for our diverse client base. You will work closely with clients to gather payroll information, calculate pay and deductions, and ensure all payroll transactions comply with local and national tax laws.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and verify timesheets and payroll data from clients.
- Calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions, commissions, etc.
- Prepare and issue statements of earnings and deductions.
- Adhere to payroll policies and procedures and comply with relevant law.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.
- Experience with Xero essential, along with an understanding of other payroll software.
- Solid understanding of accounting/bookkeeping fundamentals and payroll best practices.
- High degree of professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Outstanding numerical skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
