Your New Career

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller and working alongside the Group Reporting and Tax Manager, the Group Finance Manager will be the heart and soul of the month-end reporting process and underlying transactions of this business. Along with managing and developing a strong team, the core responsibilities will include:

• Managing the month-end close process and management reporting, including reconciliations.
• Presenting month-end results to senior leaders in the business.
• Managing the inventory processes and working closely with the Logistics team.
• Building a good understanding of how the systems and processes work and looking for both internal control and process improvement initiatives.
• Automation around system reporting and processing.
• Support the half-year and full year financial statement process.
• Support the half-year, interim and year-end audit process.
• Support the direct and indirect tax process.

What you will need to succeed

We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Manager, with the right balance between a keen eye for detail and understanding the bigger picture processes and objectives of the business. The ideal person will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Trained in a top-tier accounting firm, experience in corporate (preferably retail, consumer and/or industrials experience).
• Experience running month-end process across multiple entities.
• Ideally strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics (F&O) and excel.
• CA or CPA qualified (or international equivalents) with at least 5 years work experience.
• Experience with multinational consolidations and FX transactions.
• Experience managing a diverse team, including offshore team members.
• A strong interest in systems and processes.
