Group Human Resources Manager
Norcliffe are seeking to appoint a Group Human Resources Manager who will ideally have significant HR experience working for a mining services contractor. This is a new senior leadership role within the Norcliffe group and offers an exciting opportunity to provide strategic HR leadership and support to the various business leaders and HR teams within the Norcliffe group of companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning and delivering HR policies, processes, plus managing the full HR spectrum from employee relations to employee on-boarding and engagement across the group of companies.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent organisational skills, and can adapt quickly to meet changing business needs. It is also an opportunity to provide strategic HR leadership in a fast-growing national business with annual revenue circa $100m and with companies in both mining services and green energy.
Job responsibilities:
- Work closely with the senior leaders of the business, providing proactive support for the delivery of HR processes and programmes across offices and projects nationally.
- Establish strong relationships with business leaders and employees, offering advice on HR policies, people strategies, solutions, and other employee-related issues.
- Develop, update, and implement HR policies and processes to ensure compliance with various state statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the full HR spectrum from recruitment, selection, onboarding, in-service support, employee engagement, talent management, performance management, rewards, employment relations, mobility, exit management as well as employment agreement negotiations.
Job requirements:
- Degree in Human Resource or Business Administration with at least 10 years of experience.
- Relevant HR business partnering experience.
- Familiarity with state and national employment laws and legislations.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with all levels within an organisation.
- Adaptability in support delivery to keep up with business needs.
- Strong organisational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in the resources sector as a mining services contractor is an added advantage.
