Role ResponsibilitiesThe
Group Marketing Manager will lead Beam Suntory Australia JBBD Co. Trademark and co-lead POD team, to achieve the annual sales & marketing objectives for the Jim Beam business unit. This role plays a key role with the JBBDCo. House and on the POD Leadership team working closely with Commercial Finance, Category and Commercialization peers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the JBBDCo. Trademark with Brand House for AUS
- Lead the JB strategy for Australia
- Set annual brand strategies and plan elements for JB (media, sponsorship, and core activations)
- Partner with the Innovation team to set the long and short term innovation agenda for Jim Beam
- Accountable for Jim Beam annual brand investment plans
- Custodian and accountable to work with the JB global coalition
- Lead, coach, develop and mentor a team of ABM's, BM's and SBM
- Partner with Marketing Director to own local agency relationships
- Work closely with Group Category Manager and Shopper Activation Manager to develop annual CCEP in market customer plans
- Work with the On Premise channel team to partner with The On Premise venues to activate and trial JB
- Regularly present to senior management annual brands plans and quarterly activation calendar
- Partner with Marketing Director to own the marketing strategy with key stakeholders (local, global, CCEP)
- Expert in understanding consumer behavior and brand P&Ls
- Interface between commercial and Oceania Leadership for NPD launch post evaluation reviews and major marketing campaigns leading to a culture of continual improvement
Qualifications- Relevant degree qualification. Minimum 8 years sales and/ or marketing experience in FMCG or liquor
- Consumer Brand management experience with a focus on consumer insights
- Superior relationship building skills and senior stakeholder management are essential
- Strong business acumen skills are essential including demonstrated commercial strength
- Previous experience in developing marketing plans across complex multi - dimensional relationships, dealing with demanding stakeholders
