ATC Work Smart is a leading provider of Apprentice and Trainee employment services in WA. We are an incorporated not-for-profit community-based organisation that began Group Training operations in November 1987 and now provides Group Training, Labour hire, Recruitment, Administrative Support and Registered Training Organisation services to industry in the Great Southern, Southwest, Midwest and Perth Metro area. Our underpinning objective is to create employment and training opportunities for apprentices and trainees and connect businesses with the skilled workforce they need to thrive.
Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity available for a motivated individual to join our superstar GTO team in Albany. We are looking for a hardworking and friendly personable applicant with a ‘can do’ attitude. This position will be influential to the growth of our business and the development of skilled workers required for a strong and healthy economy.
Key responsibilities
- Recruitment, selection, and mentoring of apprentices and trainees.
- Providing support to apprentices/trainees and employers to enhance retention and training contract completion.
- Facilitating communication between key stakeholders, including schools, host employers, training providers, and employees.
- Identifying and promoting traineeship and apprenticeship opportunities to new and existing clients.
- Building networks with key stakeholders such as schools, local government, and employers.
- Supporting ATC Work Smart promotion at Career Expos and events.
- Demonstrating a commitment to excellence in customer service.
About you
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
- Proficiency in relationship building, business development, and presentations.
- Dedication and drive to achieve business objectives.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
- Capability to obtain a Working with Children Card.
- Possession of a current 'C' class motor vehicle driver's license
