About the Role
As a Supervisor you will report to the Guest Services Manager and is an integral part of the Front Office Team whose main objective is to ensure our guests are well looked after.
As the first and last impression of the Hotel, this high profile department carries a special responsibility. As Supervisor, the role is to lead the Bell Valet Attendants, taking on both administrative and operational duties.
The Bell Valet Attendants are based at the main entrance and greets each guest by name upon arrival and departure. This person transports luggage to the guest room for arrivals and transports luggage for departing guests to the hotel entrance or into temporary storage.
The Bell Valet Attendants are also responsible for meeting guests with their vehicle and safely parking them while they enjoy the hotel and returning their vehicle to them upon their departure from the hotel.
To ensure work process and performance are in compliance with Company practices, policies, Shangri-La Experience and Service Standards.
About You
P2 Provisional or Full Australian driver's license; driving record in good standing
Must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles
The ability to stand during an entire work shift
The ability to pull luggage carts with weight of up to 90 kilograms. Cart may be pulled up to the length of a full city block. Also, the ability to lift boxes of up to 45 kilograms and carries them for up to 3 meters.
An innate ability to communicate one-on-one with guests and provide intuitive service
