What you are looking at: What excites US about YOU? You are a detail-oriented and skilled accounting/finance graduate who is able to capture the vision of our company. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and stability of our growing startup. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and proficient in accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
Please note: We need you to be ready to make some touchdowns and not back down!
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
- Process payroll and ensure timely payments to employees including our Installers and Contractors.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in cash management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
- Tracking reimbursements and receipts
- Manage and track Business Cards, Petrol Cards, and Trades Cards
- Manage accounts with our key suppliers
- Bring Bi-weekly updates to bi-weekly meetings with Directors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. (Or final year)
- Experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper.
- Proficiency in accounting software - Xero and Quick Books
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ready to work hard and implement strategy
