About the Facility
Barwon Health Renal Services provides care and support for patients with kidney disease.
The service comprises a large renal out-patient consulting and education facility attached to a home dialysis training unit.
An acute 8-station haemodialysis (HD) unit is located at the University Hospital Geelong and closely supports five satellite haemodialysis units
including a large 9-12-station satellite HD unit at Barwon Health North and a 6-station satellite unit at Newcomb CHC.
About the role
A position exists for a suitably qualified Registered Nurse (Grade 2) with recent acute nursing experience to take on a Grade 2 position
rotating across the acute and satellite haemodialysis units.
Days of operation are Mon-Sat and this role involves shift rotation (mornings and afternoons),
with the ability to work 3 Saturdays within a 6-week roster cycle, based on 48hr/ftn.
Recent haemodialysis experience is desirable for this position.
