The AHM group has been very successful in the Melbourne scene for over 20 years and is constantly evolving and improving their brand. Dishing up some of the best food in Melbourne and a hefty portfolio of beers and beverages to go with it, they are ahead of the game and a massive hit amongst the locals.
This very successful business is looking for a Head Chef to join this great team on its journey to make a mark on providing an experience like no other.
The Head Chef role-
- Leading and working through busy service periods, with clear communication and teamwork
- Staff training, management, and development of people of all levels
- Ensuring quality and consistency of meals served, through the use of strong technique and equipment
- Financial management, Maintenance costs etc.
- COGS management, ensuring the profitability of the kitchen
- Stock control through systemized ordering, stock take and mise en place
You will be

You will have
- Experience in a high-volume business
- Managed a team of at least 8-10 people
- Have a passion for the business and food
- A strong desire to progress yourself and your team
- A strong understanding of financials
Essential requirements:
- Minimum 4 years' similar experience in the management of a service-driven food and beverage business
- Strong food and beverage knowledge
- Career minded with exceptional leadership skill
- Hands on and the ability to work flexible hours
