Position Responsibilities
This full-time, permanent position is based in Pakenham and leads our Boarding program. As the Head of Boarding, you will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and oversight for all aspects of the boarding facility.
This role will commence in Term 3 of 2024 or by negotiation.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the boarding facility, ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all boarders.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care, discipline, and wellbeing within the boarding community.
- Leading and supervising a team of residential staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work culture.
- Building strong relationships with boarders, their families, and external stakeholders to ensure open communication and effective support networks.
- Overseeing the allocation of resources, budget management, and facilities maintenance to uphold the quality of the boarding experience.
- Collaborating with academic staff to support boarders' educational needs and extracurricular activities within the boarding program.
A proven track record in managing boarding or residential facilities is highly desirable but not nessary.
