What the role is about?
Working in an entrepreneurial environment, and reporting to the COO, you’ll influence and advise on our strategic growth to executive leadership, oversee all financial activities and ensure compliance. You’ll be someone who thrives being hands on, is commercially astute and provides timely, accurate and actionable insights that enhance decision-making.
As this is a newly created position, your role will grow and evolve with the business strategy. To start, you’ll be working five days in the office split across Cremorne and Dandenong South. Your team, of one accountant and one accounts officer are in Dandenong South.
Day to day you’ll be involved in:
- Support the COO & CEO with the provision of financial, strategic, leadership and key decision-making advice.
- Prepare the annual budget and analyse financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Forecast, monitor, and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity.
- Develop, improve, and implement accounting and financial management systems, policies, and procedures consistent with strategic and operational plans and funding.
- Develop and lead a high performing team and a culture of continuous improvement.
What we’re looking for:
- CPA or CA qualified who thrives when working in a hands-on environment.
- Manufacturing/FMCG experience in a high growth agile SMB.
