About the Role:
The successful applicant for this position will possess strong relational capabilities to ensure successful leadership across the Department.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Leading a high performing faculty through the provision of quality learning and teaching, to support students to reach their learning potential;
- Setting high standards for student and staff performance;
- Participating in weekly leadership meeting and conduct regular faculty meetings;
- Mentoring beginning teachers in the faculty and providing support to others when required;
- Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling especially in relation to students and staff within the mathematics department;
- Manage the human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources of the Mathematics department to achieve goals;
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure alignment of whole school priorities are delivered through the Mathematics department.
