Overview
A great opportunity now exists for a vibrant, positive, and progressive strategic leader to drive the IWS and Worklocker ICT strategy as the Head of IT. Reporting to the CEO, this key position in the Executive Leadership Team will collaborate with others in the organisation to drive digital transformation, enhance operational efficiency and ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business goals.
Our office is based on the Gold Coast, QLD, and we prefer candidates who can work in the office with the CEO and team. However, we are open to considering candidates from other locations, including interstate, depending on their qualifications, experience, and suitability for the role
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic IT initiatives that align with Worklocker organisational objectives and priorities.
- Lead the digital transformation agenda, harnessing the power of emerging technologies to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
- Oversee the management of IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring robustness, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation and collaboration within the IT department and the organisation.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to the senior leadership on IT investments and opportunities.
- Establish robust cybersecurity and data protection measures to safeguard digital assets and sensitive information.
Requirements:
- Minimum five years’ experience in an ICT Operations role or IT Management.
- 5+ years in senior IT leadership dealing.
- With a deep understanding of IT systems, cybersecurity best practices and emerging technologies, you will have a strong awareness of managing budgets.
- Experience and expertise pertaining to leading and managing IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
- Experience in ERP systems (E.G. Pronto, Microsoft Dynamics etc.) and integrations is essential.
- Ability to communicate technology concepts to personnel at all levels.

Salary negotiable based on qualifications, experience, and suitability of the candidate
