Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Head, School of Management to join School of Management, Faculty of Business and Law, Academic Division.
As the Head, School of Management you'll be empowered to provide strategic and innovative leadership. You will work closely with the Executive Dean to ensure the growth and sustainability of the School, aligning it with the Faculty's and University's mission and goals.
As part of this role you will lead, inspire and encourage a culture of innovation and best practice in learning and teaching, research, and industry engagement. You will be responsible for curriculum development, quality assurance, staff management, budgeting, and engagement with industry and the wider community. You will play a critical role in fostering an ethos of cross-disciplinary collaboration and partnership within the Faculty.

What you need to succeed
Strategic Leadership: The ability to create an inclusive high-performance culture that achieves the School and Faculty goals while continuously improving.
Planning and Decision-making: Consultation skills, innovation, risk-taking, and alignment with Faculty plans and strategic priorities to enhance School performance.
Teaching and Research Leadership: A track record of high-quality teaching, academic leadership, collaboration, and expansion of research activity and income.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to lead collaboration and communication, with the ability to present articulate, positive, and diplomatic views of the School and Faculty in formal and informal settings.
Management: Senior-level administration and management experience in a higher education institution, with demonstrated expertise in managing human, financial, physical, and intellectual resources.
Engagement: Success in developing and nurturing relationships with industry, government, and professional partners.
Environmental, Social and Governance: Knowledge of equal employment opportunity and equity principles, workplace health and safety, and sustainability, with the ability to implement leadership at both strategic and operational levels.
