This newly created role will bring the existing project teams and PMO functions into an aligned global model. We want to ensure our pipeline of work is sized, prioritised, planned and then executed more consistently and leverages our strengths across the globe.
The role will oversee the project teams in ANZ and AsiaPac and will be accountable for strategy alignment, demand intake, portfolio prioritisation, resourcing and capacity planning, project delivery, reporting and will support change planning as needed.

PMO Leadership:
- Spearhead the evolution and leadership of the Project Management Office (PMO) function within regions, ensuring consistent application of project processes, methodologies, and standards. Develop and implement comprehensive project management policies, procedures, and templates
- Provide expert guidance and support to project managers and PMO staff, fostering collaboration and ensuring adherence to best practices
Portfolio Management:
- Define and maintain an active project portfolio for the regions and contribute to a single global view, aligning it with overarching Corporate goals and objectives
- Lead the annual business planning process with senior leaders
- Conduct regular and comprehensive portfolio reviews, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to prioritize projects based on strategic value and resource availability
Delivery Accountabilities:
- Line management of regional business project managers and PMO leaders
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Projects within the regions, ensuring they are completed within defined scope, timelines, and budget parameters
- Collaborate proactively with product, technology and wider business teams to identify and mitigate risks, escalating issues as necessary
- Regularly monitor and report project progress to senior management and stakeholders
Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide visionary leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for the project and PMO resources
- Establish clear performance metrics and goals, conducting regular reviews and providing constructive feedback
- Implement strategies to enhance global team collaboration, communication, and overall efficiency
Required: prior experience in a matrixed global role
- 10+ years experience in transformational change managing programs and/ or practices contributing to strategic goals
- 5+ years proven experience in leading Business Practices, PMO functions and successfully managing complex project portfolios
Demonstrable, hands-on experience of:
- Delivery management methodologies and best practices
- Leadership of globally dispersed teams in a matrixed structure
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a focus on cultivating a positive and collaborative team culture
