TP Human Capital is partnering with a government client in Townsville (On-Site role) to find an exceptional Health and Safety Manager for their exciting Information Management Project.
This is a project-based contract role offering an attractive hourly rate of $55-$60.
The Role:
- Proactively identify, assess, and control workplace hazards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain WHS policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, and investigations.
- Provide clear and concise WHS guidance, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
- Deliver impactful coaching and training programs to educate leaders, teams, and employees on safe work practices.
- Stay up to date on WHS best practices and emerging trends.
You’re a great fit if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in WHS, Risk, Compliance, Law, Health, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar WHS role.
- Strong ability to interpret and apply WHS legislation, regulations, and codes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on coaching and facilitation.
- A proactive, flexible, and results-oriented approach to safety.
