About the Role
We are looking for a HSEQ Manager (permanent) whowill be responsible for driving change at a HSE advisor level, policy level, and at the subcontractor/client level.
The right candidate will need to have a:
- Excellent understanding of legal and regulatory requirements.
- Be comfortable with leading investigations and ensuring quality recommendations and outcomes (both internal and ex investigations).
- Have the energy required to build and sustain momentum to improve Zenith’s safety performance in the face of resistance to change.
- Develop and implement health, safety and environmental (HSE) management systems, policies and procedures to ensure safe work environment.
- Ensure capability, consistency across all sites for HSE.
- Provide guidance to Zenith’s team and contractors to develop SWMS / SWP/ JHA’s for the Project, in accordance with Zenith energy HSE and document management.
- Monitor and forecast HSE trends and changes in the legislation, implement proactive strategies to ensure continuous improvement.
This position is FIFO, site based.
Roster: 2:1 or 8:6

About you
AS the HSEQ Manager you will have the following experience, and skills to bring to the role.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience.
- Rostered FIFO experience/remote working
Skills and Knowledge
- Federal and State Workplace Health and Safety legislation and regulations.
- National Heavy Vehicle Laws
- Australian standards ISO 45001, ISO9001, ISO 14001.
- Collaborate with project contractors and regulatory agencies to improve incident prevention practices and monitor compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Position interface with and represent the company to HSE locations and regulatory agencies.
- Strong administration skills, organised, thorough, systems orientated with attention to detail.
- Ability to behave in a professional and courteous manner.
- Good reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
- Communicate effectively (e.g., presentation, verbal, writing, relationship building, negotiating, listening) to meet the needs of the audience and/or situation.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety.
- ICAM or formal investigation training.
- Lead Auditor (desired).
- Extensive experience in an operationally focused HSE related role.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Experience in the application of the WA Work Health and Safety Legislation.
- Auditor Certification - Internal and/or External).
- Cert 1V Training and Assessment
