Job description:
Undertake the day-to-day supervision of Health Services Officers within Health Information Services (HIS), ensuring that service delivery standards, service objectives and strategies are understood, implemented, and maintained.
The role:
Undertake quality assurance processes and activities to identify opportunities for improving the content and accuracy of Health Information and health records, ensuring service delivery standards are met.
Provide administrative support to Health Information Services (HIS) and undertake a supervisory role of Health Information Officers regarding daily tasks and quality control work.
Provide subject matter expertise and training to staff regarding the review and evaluation of practice to ensure documents align with AS 2828 Health Records and Agency policies, protocols, and guidelines.
Raise, collate, and compile regular and ad hoc reports for senior management/committees regarding failed electronic transmissions and/or anomalies to support action and service delivery improvements.
