We are looking for Health and Safety Advisor to support Rocky Bay’s Safety Management Framework. Reporting directly to the Health and Safety Manager, this position will support operational teams across Rocky Bay.

Our ideal candidate will have:
- A collaborative approach as a member of the Quality and Governance Team, partnering with all members of Rocky Bay to provide safe, effective and efficient delivery of services.
- Demonstrated ability to actively champion a healthy, safe workplace and customer experience.
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating and conducting in-depth investigations into hazards, incidents and other events to support continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience in injury management, prevention and early intervention strategies
- Demonstrated consistent, high standard of service and best practice outcomes across all operational areas.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating plant and equipment risk assessments
- Demonstrated communication and relationship building ability that engages staff and stakeholder input for health and safety matters.
- Influence policy and procedures in line with current Australian Standards and Codes of Practice, with awareness to the context of NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, collating trends from incident and hazard reports and identifying suitable support strategies and solutions to manage or eliminate these.
- Facilitation skills to render safety related training to internal stakeholders on a range of Health and Safety matters.
- Safety management software knowledge e.g. SolvSafety or similar
