The Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing health education and technology company. We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Healthcare Educator and Content Advisor to play a key role within Ausmed's Content and Education Team.
You will be primarily responsible for;
- Planning, reviewing and publishing engaging video lecture content for Australian healthcare professionals.
- Providing clinical governance over education content
- Utilise technology to implement and maintain multilingual education resources
- Developing a library of ‘takeaway’ resources and summaries for learners
- Developing and managing a library of competency assessment frameworks and tools
- Collaborate with clinical subject matter experts to review the competency assessment tools and frameworks
- Oversee the creation of structured educational plans for effective teaching
- Staying up to date with the latest trends and advancements in healthcare education and technology.

This role may best-suit a Nurse, Physio, Paramedic or other registered healthcare professional who is passionate about providing high-quality health outcomes but looking for ways other than a patient-facing position to do so. Any experience in education/training and Content creation would be highly valued.

Your Impact
- Contribute to the development of engaging e-learning experiences with an expert level of clinical oversight and health knowledge
- Keep abreast of new changes, trends and developments in best-practice healthcare
- Collaborate and build working relationships with leading Australian healthcare experts
- Work closely with a team of content creators including writers, videographers and voice-actors, learning new media and Content creation skills
- Conduct academic research and fact-checking to a very high-standard
- Have your work viewed by hundreds of thousands of other healthcare professionals around the country
- Design and evaluate the impact of your education to effectively improve patient outcomes.
Experience, Skills & Attributes
- A Bachelor degree in healthcare, education or related field.
- Current registration within a healthcare profession
- Proven experience in a clinical healthcare setting
- Experience working in a training or education role
- Excellent, demonstrable research and writing skills, with experience in researching and writing educational content for a healthcare audience
- A strong understanding of best-practice education design principles
- Tech savvy with experience using educational technology and online learning platforms
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and think creatively in developing educational content.
