The Role
Mammoet are looking for a pro-active and analytical addition to our Australian Heavy Haulage team. As a Heavy Transport Planner, you will coordinate the allocation of equipment and personnel as well as arranging permits for upcoming Heavy Transport projects. This is a fast paced and rewarding role for a candidate that likes to be in the middle of the action.
The role will be based in our Naval Base office in Perth on a Full-Time Monday-Friday basis working a 50 hour week.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Planning equipment and personnel movements in line with engineered requirements
- Liaising with site Superintendents, Project Managers and Logistics departments
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with our crews
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- An analytical and curious attitude
- A can-do mentality
- General knowledge / experience in planning or scheduling
- Strong communication and computer skills
- SAP experience is a bonus
- Knowledge of cranes or transportation is a bonus
- A desire to learn, willingness to take ownership and to be adaptable
