AddressSITS College RTO 91533, provides Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs to International and Domestic students. We started operations in 2009. Since 15 years we are committed to providing quality training and assessment to our student cohort and are seeking dynamic trainers and assessors to join our team.
We are hiring Trainers/Assessors to deliver Commercial Cookery, Kitchen Management and Hospitality Management qualifications at Fortitude Valley, QLD 4006
Tasks Will Include:
- You will be responsible for training and assessing International students enrolled in the relevant scope as per class scheduled.
- You will be responsible to conduct training classes at the campus and practical classes in Kitchen, preparing the observation check list for practical training sessions.
- To prepare, deliver and monitor student progress and maintain student files.
- Support student training plans with the relevant documents and records to maintain compliance.
- Have current industry skills, knowledge and vocational qualifications directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided
- Have current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that inform your training and assessment.
Required skills & experience:
- Qualification in Cert iii Commercial Cookery, Cert IV Kitchen Management and Diploma Hospitality Management
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 / TAE40122)
- Relevant currency and Industry experience
- Current driver’s licence
- Current Blue Card
- Undertake annual professional development in the fields of learning and assessment, including competency-based training and assessment.
- Hold professional memberships to inform your training and assessment practices
- A 'can do' positive approach to training
- A self-motivated, resilient, energetic and self-assured attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills
