Delmar Private Hospital is a private facility in the Northern Beaches of Sydney, offering a personalised healthcare service to the local and surrounding areas. An opportunity exists for a mature, friendly, confident and experienced administrator to join our team.
Main Tasks include but not limited to:
- Reception
- Liaising with hospital staff, patients and visitors.
- Contacting patients referred to Delmar with Hospital admission information.
- Greet Rehabilitation inpatients and patient transfer services upon patient arrival.
- Verifying patient information for admission via online or telephone communication.
- Compiling and completing essential documents for patient admissions.
- Health Fund eligibility checks.
- Medical Records scanning.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong computer skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- Deliver professional and caring customer focused service.
- Able to be flexible, support the team and work independently.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Administration duties as and when required.
Desirable criteria:
- Previous receptionist/administration experience in the healthcare industry is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Experience with the patient system WebPas or equivalent.
- Knowledge of health fund eligibility check process
Requirements
- Be an Australian Citizen or hold a relevant Visa for employment in Australia.
- Vaccination Record
- Available to work 5 days a week. Shift start times can vary between 0630-0900. Flexibility required.
