Key Responsibilities
- To provide support to the Hospitality Services Manager in all aspects of the catering department
- To provide a high standard of service delivery throughout the hospital in line with the philosophy and objectives
- Effective and efficient management of the Catering Service, ensuring a consistently high quality service
- Help maintain safe food handling practices & HACCP certification
- Conduct Audits as per NSQHS, HICMR and HACCP policies
What you bring
- Leadership skills at a proven level in managing a diverse workforce
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to train and mentor within a competency based training framework
- Problem solving skills and Human Resource management skills
- Previous and demonstrated experience in the wider hospitality industry
- Demonstrated understanding of WHSE responsibilities
- Have or be willing to complete Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Frontline Management
- Understanding of safe food handling requirements in relation to vulnerable people
- Excellent customer service and maintaining high standards
- Ability to cook or have exposure to certain levels of commercial cooking
