The Role
Every week we invite our new Dome team members to Midland to experience small group training in our dedicated Training Centre on Guest Service, production processes, standards, teamwork and more.
As the trainer, you will prepare the training facilities, ensure that the required skills and knowledge are imparted and assessed though demonstration, practice and observation. You will provide each trainee with detailed reviews and work with their Cafe Managers to ensure their ongoing development.
Your Background
Whilst a history in Dome may initially put you at an advantage, we can teach you everything you need to know - if you already have hospitality experience, preferably in management - and have the patience, thoroughness and sense of humour needed to be a great trainer!
You will also need a natural eye for detail, be procedure driven and understand the need for consistency across out network to deliver effectively to our many thousands of daily guests.
Development & Opportunities
Whilst some of our training programs are well established, we have many more ready to be developed and being in this role will give you the perfect opportunity to assist in creating and delivering new training materials over the coming years.
Formal Training Qualifications are not required for this role, however if working towards your Certificate IV in Training & Assessments is something you are interested in, we will assist you in achieving this.
