Young Hotels Group - Hotel Duty Manager

Young Hotels Group is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to join our energetic team at Bar Broadway (Chippendale) and Illinois Hotel (Five Dock )
. Assisting in overseeing our full venue operations encompassing gaming and bar and the venue is a late trading venue , this hands on leadership role is an exceptional opportunity to work within a great culture, lead by example and be rewarded. This role is exciting as it's an opportunity to be involved from the ground up and work alongside the venue Licensee.
The Hotel Duty Manager is responsible for the management and operation of the Hotels and areas including the Bar /Gaming and Accommodation areas, including management and supervision of hotel staff.
Duties:
• Operational management of Bar services provided at company Hotels
• Operational management of Gaming services provided at company Hotels
• Staff management and supervision;
• Implementing Hotel Policies and Procedures
• Recruiting, training and supervising staff
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws
• Monitor employee performance and conduct regular evaluations to help improve customer service.
• Organize activities and assign responsibilities to employees to ensure productivity.
• Performs daily, weekly and monthly property inspections
• Audits on par stock on all areas to make sure that all required hotel supplies are ordered and stocked in advance of need
• Daily Cash / Banking reconciliation
• Opening / Closing venues
• Weekly venue performance reports
All Other duties as assigned by the Hotel Licensee and Operational Manager.
