A rare opportunity exists to lead our brand new, independent hotel on the beautiful NSW Central Coast. We’re looking for a passionate, energetic, creative, and experienced Hotel Manager, who will successfully lead our team through the hotels pre-opening to launch and beyond. We are looking for a natural leader who values a people-first approach, which will not only encourage our team to thrive, but who is also focused on creating attentive and memorable experiences for hotel guests.
Our 5 storey, 86 room hotel sits within the iconic Mingara Recreation Club precinct. The hotel provides guests to the Central Coast with a contemporary hotel stay in a laid-back setting, enhanced by the colour and excitement of an array dining, bars, events, lifestyle, and entertainment experiences on offer at Mingara.
A Great Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to build the foundations of our hotel from the start by:
- Establishing systems, processes and procedures for hotel operations
- Hand selecting the team that will join you on this exciting journey
- Designing and executing our launch strategy, together with our Marketing team
Looking into the future, this role will be responsible for:
- All aspects of hotel management, from driving an exceptional customer experience from the front desk through to housekeeping
- Developing and implementing unique sales and marketing strategies to drive business
- Overseeing room booking and reservation platforms and responding to demand
- Lastly, and most importantly, you will lead your team by inspiring, developing and empowering them to be our future leaders.
What success looks like
With a minimum of 5 years experience in hotel management, our ideal candidate will be passionate about creating great relationships with key stakeholders across operations, venue management and guest experience. You will be a values-based leader, with extensive experience in developing high performing teams. You will have extensive experience in managing online booking platforms, room pricing and Property Management Software. In addition, a demonstrated expertise in business planning, commercial and financial management.
