Knox Grammar School is an independent, multi-campus Kindergarten to Year 12 day and boarding school for boys, located at Wahroonga on Sydney’s North Shore. In addition to the single-sex campuses, Knox also operates Wahroonga Preparatory School, a co-educational campus for students Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6.

THE OPPORTUNITY
A position has arisen within the Knox Grammar School Boarding Team for a House Manager. This role works closely with the Head of Stage and Boarding Executive Officer within the Boarding House. You will supervise students, ensuring they are ready to attend classes, greet them on their return and co-ordinate their after-school activities. This position is not live-in.
This permanent part time role entails 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday during term time, plus two non-term weeks (40 weeks per year).
The hours are as follows:
- 6:15am - 8:45am
- and 2:45pm - 5:15pm
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience, or demonstrated interest in boarding
- Appreciation and understanding of what is important in a successful boarding environment for boys
- Ability to relate well to boys, staff and parents
- Self-motivation, flexibility, initiative and resourcefulness
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Strong focus and ability to work within a team
- Support for the ethos of the Uniting Church
