Our Hotel
The Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Sydney is a Heritage Listed 364 room, five-star classic hotel located between Sydney's best shopping and the Sydney Opera House.
The Role
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Houseperson to join our very experienced, diverse and friendly team. As a Houseperson, you will ensure that our team of Housekeepers have everything they need to work effectively on the floors. You will also assist with various guest requests and make sure our public areas look clean and tidy.
Please note: This position is on a 7-day rotating roster. Flexibility with your availability is required. (Shifts are 0800am - 4:00pm on weekdays, 0900am - 05:00pm on weekends and 1300 - 2100).
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following:
- The ability to demonstrate and deliver 5-Star service with a Yes I Can attitude
- Previous experience in a Hotel environment (5-Star preferred)
- Flexible and adaptable to work a rotating roster including shift work, weekends and public holidays
- Have the capacity to perform in a physical role which includes pushing, pulling and lifting up to 15kg
- A willingness to follow Work, Health & Safety guidelines
- Good communication skills is a must – you will need to carry a phone whilst in shift

Pay Rates
Our rates are as per the Hospitality Industry General Award. Please see current base rates below:
Full-time/ Part-Time:
Monday - Friday: $24.08
Saturday: $30.10
Sunday: $36.12
Additional penalty rates apply as required by the HIGA.
