Silk is looking to appoint a motivated, autonomous and reliable individual to join our Housekeeping Team as a Houseperson.
Position Responsibilities
- Clean all public areas as directed by site supervisor to hotel and brand standards maintaining attention to
detail. - Assists room attendant with heavy items such as mattresses and soiled linens. Delivers linens and
necessary supplies to room attendants - Take laundry and dry cleaning orders to guests as well as any other miscellaneous items on request
- Responds to guest requests such as delivery of housekeeping supplies (e.g. linens, roll-a-ways, etc.) in a timely and efficient manner.
- Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Replenish and count amenities, linens and supplies in store rooms.
- Proven experience is essential, preferably in a 4/5 star resort or hotel.
- A 'Can do' attitude.
- Committed to delivering excellent service & standards.
- Immaculate presentation and advanced communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Passionate in providing friendly personalised customer service.
- A desire to learn and progress within the team.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Housekeeping operations knowledge.
